Inspiration for photo essay

Humans of New York: https://www.instagram.com/humansofny/?hl=en
This project is the main inspiration for this project. I find the "human" interactions and brief interviews make you connect in a deep way with the work. I feel like people who are passionate about their sneakers and self expression will be willing to give this more human interview.

Do you have an idea of how many people you want to include?
- I want to have around 8-10 people within the essay. This seems like a good set of people with a range of love for sneaker culture.

 Preferred kinds of shoe?
- I want to find shoes that I know are respected in the scene, but also shoes that have personality to them. Vans with drawings on them, beat up converse, those shoes wi; ahbe a good story to them.
