The last time our class met we talked with Todd Mrozinksi. We talked about how he went about becoming a writer, his process for writing, and different works he made and articles he wrote. I found it interesting that even as a professional in the field he still writes mostly based on inspiration, the example that comes to mind is how he visited the Milwaukee Art Museum multiple times with no inclination of doing an article on the Degas to Picasso exhibit. Yet the last time he got the idea and followed up on it by taking pictures of each piece in the exhibit and its information. Another example he talked about was how during his residency at the Pfister many of the pieces he created were of people who stopped by as he was painting. Overall i feel writing needs inspiration to be its best, without it you end up with something lifeless and dry. For my topic I have multiple people I'd like to interview and they all are super inspired to be making a difference both at MIAD and in the community at large.
