Today in class, we met with our TRIAD groups and talked about our progress with our articles. As I mentioned in my last writing, I have come up with all my questions I want to ask people, both about specific works of art and art controversy as a whole. I have also started contacting people about interviews, but as of right now, no one has responded yet. I sent a message to Andres Von Chrzanowski (AKA Case Maclaim) about his current mural called The Unsung Hero, which is located on the historic Dye House in Milwaukee. I thought it would be very interesting to talk to an artist about their work specifically and how they feel about the controversy that has been uprising with their piece. In order to make my article stronger, I plan to have at least one artist's opinion about controversy, depending on how many respond to me, as well as talking to people around Milwaukee about how they feel about art controversy as a whole. Having the artist's original intent being noted in the article and then what other people thought about it should make for a more interesting and in-depth article. I am currently starting to write up my introduction paragraph and figuring out the outline of my article. I am also working on gathering images that correspond with what I will be talking about.
