As of right now my ideas are a little all over the place. I think the best idea I have at the moment is along the lines of doing something such as interviewing an artist I already know or an alumni. I would also love to explore some of the businesses or artists that live in Milwaukee. Finding something that related to my major. In past classes I've had to do something fine arts related and I would really love to use this opportunity to explore the profession I plan to be apart of. This will also help me to explore the illustration community of Milwaukee and make connections.  I will do more research on this idea to further grasp what kind of work I would have to do.

My other possible idea is to explore the workings of the art museum in a more student sided viewpoint. Through my years at MIAD i’ve met alumni, teachers, and other students that have worked at the art museum. It may be interesting to interview them along with other MIAD students to see a new perspective on the Museum. However this being said it's a lot more fine art related than I hoped to do and I would like to explore my options in the design community before pursuing this idea.

You have time to make new connections and explore possibilities in the illustration community in Milwaukee.
This is who Todd mentioned today: https://www.facebook.com/FranciscoMoraArtista/
Have you checked in with faculty about other opportunities/connections? Kyle? James Barany?
