Blog Post 1

My name is Annika Ball and I am an illustration major at MIAD. I am mostly based in digital as well as traditional arts. My digitized art is highly stylized and colorful focusing on positive and happy themes. My traditional art varies in style and color choices with my primary media being acrylic on wood. My traditional art generally revolve around themes of nature. I do not consider myself to be much of a writer and I only write when I have to.

In this class I would like to explore events such as art festivals and fairs. I love going to these type of events and I haven't had the chance to go to any in Milwaukee. I also think it would be interesting to explore theatre companies and event in Milwaukee since I have never really had the chance to do that. I used to be very involved in the theatre community in my hometown and I would love to get involved in theatre in Milwaukee.  I guess some questions that I still have is how much do I need to delve into these organizations and how much do I really need to learn about them in order to complete what is needed for this class?
